The time you give to individuals and non-profits can make a huge impact in our community.
Whether you have one hour or one day, we have a variety of ways for you to volunteer. Volunteer opportunities span United Way of Payne County's areas of focus and impact: health, education, financial stability, and life-enhancing. What are you passionate about? How do you want to make a difference? No matter the amount of time, your volunteerism is supporting your neighbors and improving Payne County.
Last year, more than 1,000 volunteers donated more than 5,000 hours in opportunities through United Way. Help us make those numbers even higher this year. Payne County needs you and the time you're able to give. Become a United Way volunteer!

Payne County Youth Services
405-377-3380 | 2224 W. 12th, Stillwater, OK | www.pcys.org
Volunteer opportunities at Payne County Youth Services include a variety of options from working directly with children and youth, serving on one of our Boards, providing tutoring, clothing, shoes, and hygiene supply drives, assisting with events and fundraising, and advocating for abused and neglected children and youth, and for mental health and substance abuse services.
At our shelter, volunteers may choose to provide special events or outings for shelter residents, sponsor a game night, movie night, or provide activities such as fishing, arts and crafts, playing basketball or other activities, traveling to the zoo, or hosting a cookout at the shelter or elsewhere. Holiday parties and summer activities are always a big hit with our kiddos. Haircuts and other services are always welcome for our residents.
Additional opportunities include various internships through both bachelor and advanced degree programs at OSU, or with businesses or faith-based organizations. Yard and home maintenance include painting, raking leaves, planting flowers, and landscape design at both the shelter and outpatient offices. Office assistance with mailings and special projects is available on a case-by-case basis. Even better, we love to hear YOUR ideas of how you can show our children, youth and families how much you and the community cares.
Please reach out to us for yourself, a group, one-time volunteering or recurrent scheduling. We appreciate your support!
